Versa 2 big discrepancy from iPhone health app

My Versa 2 has me at 17k steps today and my iPhone health has me at 10k.  The Versa is always about 50% higher than my iPhone even when I carry my iPhone around ?   Which is more correct?

Hi @Bmoorev2 ,

That's impossible to measure because each device is using different metrics to measure steps.  Fitbit is simply an activity tracker and will even count arm movements as steps.  The phone, however, won't count steps unless it's physically moved by you and relies primarily on vibrations from the phone.

Thank you, I got a Versa 3 with GPS and wore both Versa 2 and 3  for a long walk.   They were really close to each other.   Leaving the phone at home now.
