I did the firmware update a few days ago and everything seemed fine.
Woke up to a black screen this morning, and thought it had run down to put it onto charge while I showered. When I took it off charge it was hot and the screen wouldn't come on.
The green backlights are flashing, I've tried a hard reset (a few times) and still no screen.
It does appear to be synching with my phone though.
Has this firmware update killed my Versa?

My screen went black as well about three weeks ago. It didn’t occur to me that it could have been a firmware update issue. My versa still tracks my heart rate and sleep and steps but all touch and button functionality is gone. After time with customer support I got a discount since my Fitbit is out of warranty… be warned the alarms still vibrate but now don’t turn off with tap or side button. Just after 1 minute it automatically stops.

I spoke to customer support earlier and they are replacing my versa 2, I'm pretty chuffed with their response as it was out of warranty.
