My son bought me this replacement Versa 2 for Christmas 2023, because my other one did exactly the same thing 😡 it is a 2024 model it stopped working on 10/12/2024

First it would not let me voice text came home put it on the charger woke up this morning it has a black screen.

It has a black screen it occasionally shows the Fitbit logo. It will not reset it is fully charged. I have turned off and on the phone turned off Bluetooth and turned it back on deleted the device tried to install the device now it won't sync.

This really makes me angry this is the second one I've had why do they not even last a year when they're $250!

Hi there, @LjinTucsonThanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Versa 4 is still blank. I understand your concern and how you must be feeling, I will do my best to help you with this!

Since your Versa 2 is stuck on the Fitbit logo and not syncing, please try the steps below in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Fitbit device.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.
  • Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 2 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.
