Fitbit used to be my boyfriend's, but he barely ever used it so I decided to use it for myself. It's about 1.5 years old.
It never synced to my phone despite doing everything right, so I decided to factory reset it when plain restarting both devices didn't work.
It never turned back on after being factory reset. Held the power button down for many seconds multiple times, even held it for a few minutes once. Left it on the charger overnight and tried holding the power button down for a while many more times. Still no power.

Factory reset often destroys a watch.
Probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.

Support tried their best to help but watch is definitely dead. Oh well.
