Versa 2 button not responding and screen won't swipe

After reading several of the discussions and feeds, I have done everything recommended. The button works when it wants to. The screen stays black and sometimes "wakes up." When the screen is awake, the swiping function does not work. I have changed the clock face to the default. I have done a soft reset/turned it off and back on. I cannot access the factory reset option. Any suggestions???
