Versa 2 button stuck

Hi all, 

Can someone help me fix fitbit versa 2! the button is not functioning at all. The screen is. but now it's stuck inside an app endlessly because of inability to click button,. I am open for drastic solutions since I am almost throwing it if its not gonna work. Is the opening on right side something  I can use for hard reset?

.If your Versa 2 button is not working look closely at the edges around the button. Can you see any dust or dirt? Try to gently use a toothpick/straight pin around the button to loosen anything that might be stuck there. Press in the button (like double tapping) to see if the dirt or debris has released. If this doesn’t work you can try to clear debris using canned air, Just try hold the Versa 2 at arm's length and spray once to loosen any dirt or dust that may have accumulated around the button. 
You can attempt to try a restart by holding the button down until you see the Fitbit Logo then release the button.

Thank you so much. What exactly is meant by canned Air? Just spraying air on it?

😃 This is canned air…it comes in a variety of different brands but they work the same. It’s something you can easily pick up at Walmart or places such as that.
