Versa 2 can't add my card in Fitbit Pay

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a Versa 2. I have set up my Visa Card in the Fitbit Pay wallet. Twice now my card has been deleted from the Versa 2 but is still visible in the Fitbit app. The first time this happened I had to uninstall my card then reinstall it. Is this a is bug and is there a solution to  reinstall the card in the watch?

I reported this problem to Fitbit support who were less than helpful. They advised me that the cause was my Nokia 6.1 phone that is not supported by Fitbit. At no point in the purchase process for the Versa 2 was it pointed out that your phone could affect features like the NFC. Not very good

Hi there @darentz, welcome to the Community Forums. I apologize for the late response. I am sorry to hear that you are going through this situation. I appreciate your feedback about your Customer Support experience.

Please note that our main purpose is to avoid negative experiences to our customers, we're always willing to help and provide troubleshooting steps.

Note that as you were told by our team, when a device is not supported we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance. Currently, your Nokia 6.1 isn't yet a supported device, you can see the list at: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

Besides the steps you've tried so far, I'd recommend try the following:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Reopen the Fitbit app.
  3. To manually sync the device:
    1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon.
    2. Tap the Fitbit device.
    3. Tap Sync Now. You should now see your card art when you hold down the back button (after entering the pin if prompted).

I hope this helps you, I'll be around if you have any questions present.
