Anyone get their versa 2 yet and can't connect to Alexa? I've got a ticket in but it's so frustrating to have a brand new watch and unable to use the biggest reason you decided to upgrade

After you enter your Amazon password and press continue, what happens?

Sorry. It "yes you do" what? When ever runny your password, what then happens.
So for you say that you have only tried to create a new Amazon account and haven't tried logging into your account.

It won’t even let me log into amazon. It says their sorry but that they’re working on fixing it. How can I fix it or should I just wait till fit bit fixes it

I am very frustrated with this. The Alexa in my house will answer questions about my Fitbit, but my Versa 2 is not cooperating.
My Versa 2 shows a message to set up Alexa in the Fitbit app.
My Fitbit app shows that it is connected but I can't get past this screen.
My Alexa app shows that my Fitbit is online.
I would appreciate some help with this. Thank you.

Hey @AnnieLuce with your second screen shot, there is nothing to get past. Have you tried setting Alexa up again.?

Go on the Fitbit app. Click on Versa 2. Then click on apps. Then click on Alexa. Then put in the information.

@ben_cubito the issue is that on the page your referring to. Alexa is showing as being connected and the only option is to logout.

I was having the same problem. Tried all the suggestions on this thread and nothing worked. Ended up on the Amazon app and updated my password and then back to the Fitbit app and it worked perfectly!

I've tried this, updating and reinstalling, and it has not helped. My versa 2 wont show up as discoverable for the alexa to connect it as a device. It is, however, enabled in the Alexa app and connected to the Fitbit app, but my Versa2 won't connect at all to Alexa. Neither Amazon nor Fitbit customer service (via phone) have been able to help so far...

Your Versa 2 will not be discoverable to Alexa, @Nikit84 through the Fitbit App, account, Versa 2, Amazon Alexa, you need to login to your Alexa account.

yeah not only can't connect Alexa. it jammed up my Samsung phone and now my phone won't do anything . I can't turn the phone off nothing works . Went down to the Telstra shop and they couldn't fix it either.
so now watch doesn't work and phone doesn't work which leaves me in trouble

@Nikit84 yes of you connect the versa to your Alexa hardware, it will be connected as a speaker, because that is the only way the Alexa Hardware can connect to another device.
As for searching on the phones Bluetooth, there is nothing a user can do with this type of search.
The Fitbit app must pair the Versa to the phone.
If on android, I would log out/in. This usually will get the app to renew and ask for permissions.
@Barburina4 a beta is just that, usually the next version and may have more bugs. You can always go to beta.fitbit.com and apply to be a tester.
