Versa 2 can't connect to Alexa

Anyone get their versa 2 yet and can't connect to Alexa? I've got a ticket in but it's so frustrating to have a brand new watch and unable to use the biggest reason you decided to upgrade

@N8teGee The sign in button is behaving like a dead button. I doesn't matter what you type in...the button is not triggering the expected SAML authentication process.

@theminders I'm sorry, I didn't realise that was the case. Yes this is very strange indeed, especially if it's only affecting specific phones.

@theminders @Skip501 have you guys tried uninstalling and reinstalling Fitbit app with the reboot of the phone in-between? Sorry if you have already tried that.

Yes, I tried that. I even did a full factory reset of both the phone and
the Versa 2. This is not a user issue. There is a problem on Fitbit's end.
I do appreciate the suggestion though. Cheers.

@Skip501 when you go to https://www.amazon.com/mycd and log in with your account what devices can you see? Also, have you tried downloading Alexa app on your phone, logging in to your Amazon account there (Alexa app), and then trying to enable alexa in the Fitbit app again?

Yes I have tried all that you suggested but the Alexa app does not find my versa2 when I try adding device there. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling my apps and restarting my phone and restarting my versa2 and nothing happens. My two issues still remain to be adding alexa and adding music. Sent via the Samsung Galaxy Note9, an AT&T 5G Evolution capable smartphone

@Marrrmaduke I have no problem logging into the Alexa app or the Amazon app. My phone shows as an Alexa device obviously because I'm signed in with the app. The Alexa Versa 2 integration does not make it to the authentication process, so I'm not surprised the Versa does not show up as an Alexa device. I appreciate the suggestion.

Hello...I am having the same issue. When I go to the Fitbit app to login to amazon it gives me the message that says unable to connect to your Amazon account. When I go to the Alexa app it will not discover my device

Are you using the Fitbit beta app? If so, that's the problem. Delete the
app, restart phone and reinstall. It should work it did for me

I tried all of that. Then I removed my Fitbit app again (amazon version) and downloaded the Google version and it finally worked! Whew....that was a workout. Thank you for your help 😊

My Alexa only half worked on day 1, but I couldn’t get it to “see” my smart devices setup in the Alexa app. Oddly, this corrected itself overnight and worked first thing in the morning.

Unfortunately, it’s still fairly useless for me, as mine keeps dropping its Bluetooth connection to my phone. I’m getting close to giving up and going back to my charge2 (that only needed pairing once, in 2 years).

Check your app. I had the beta version and when I cancelled that and updated to the "regular" version it finally let me add it.
