Versa 2 charger looks unfinished on the bottom

Just got a Versa 2 to replace wife’s dead Versa 1 and the charger looks odd.  Wire just sticks out the bottom with no base attached, so if won’t lay on a counter like the old charger did.  Is this how the new charger is on the Versa 2 or did we get a defective one?

Yep mines the same. Had a versa 1 and it had a nice charger and when I got the new one I also thought it was defective! So weird

The Versa 2 charging cable doesn’t work with Versa or Versa Lite Edition. Please use the charging cable that came with your Fitbit device.

I never mentioned that I used my old charger? I said I agree it looks defective and that I preferred the look of my old one better. But thanks for your input..
