Versa 2 charger was very hot during charging and now won't charge at all

The charger has been getting hotter and hotter during charging and now the device is dead. Won't charge at all.

Same issue here. I charged my versa 2 after battery ran out. The device was hot and the screen doesn't turn on at all. I tried to put it back on the charger, and it got really hot again within 10 minutes. Screen doesn't turn off. It doesn't sync with the app anymore. I just got this 4 months ago.
