Hi everyone,
I have had my versa 2 for about 4 months now and so far I’ve loved it. I recently started going running once again and obviously used my Fitbit to track my runs. I have started to notice however that during my runs, the GPS on my fit bit would randomly lose connection and cause a disruption in the middle of my run trying to get it back on. After I have finished my runs, the map and distance is way shorter than it should be due to the GPS being disconnected. Does anyone know I can fix this and stop it from disconnecting and frustrating me? The phone I use is an IPhone 11 so there’s no issues with the phone surely.
Thanks,
Colm.

Hi there @Colmk927, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with your Versa 2.
Please note that in order for the Versa 2 to maintain a constant GPS communication with your phone, the Fitbit app should be open and running on the background while you're exercising.
Fore troubleshooting steps, please see Why isn't GPS working on my Fitbit device?
Let me know how it goes.

I have always kept the Fitbit app running in the background and mapping is still only working briefly. Just see a small line on the map but it does track my distance, time, etc. I went in to my settings on my phone and noticed that under Location>Fitbit>Permissions...Physical activity was under Denied so I changed it to allowed. Hopefully this works.
