Versa 2 constantly stops syncing to my phone

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I used to have the exact same problem with my Alta HR. I thought perhaps this was an anomaly but it's even worse with the Versa 2. Only after restarting my Bluetooth, force stopping the fitbit app and restarting the watch will it finally sync. I don't understand how this is practical. What am I doing wrong? Could someone please assist me. Thank you.

Hi there @Itsmefastfast, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the syncing issues you've been recently having with your Versa 2. I appreciate you took the time to troubleshoot the syncing issue prior to posting here, I'll be glad to continue assisting you.

In order for me to better assist you, would you mind confirming that you've followed the steps provided in this help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Also, if you haven't done so yet, I'd recommend taking a look at: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

I'm looking forward to your response, keep me posted.

I have had the same problem with the exact same devices. The article is helpful, but doesn’t address the issue of the annoyance of having to do it!

Hi there @sunflowerlove81, welcome on board. I understand that doing the steps recommended frequently may be annoying. I'll be more than glad to address the syncing issue of your Versa 2.

Have you also checked this article: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?. May I know the model of your phone and it's current OS?

Hi, thank you. Yes, I did check that out. I have an iPhone 6S plus and it’s running iOS 13.6.

I have the same issue, plus Alexa constantly becomes unlinked so I can't use that feature either until I go through the process of opening up the app and connecting again (even though it always shows it's connected, I just literally have to open the app to make the watch recognize that it is). It's extremely frustrating. And before someone asks, my phone is a Samsung Galaxy S7 which is allegedly compatible.
