Versa 2 dead and hot to touch

My Versa2 (approx. 8m old) last autosynced last night at 10:45PM. Woke up this morning to a black screen. I assumed the watched died overnight, although I wasn't aware the battery was low. I put it on the charger and after about 10min I went to check on it. It was HOT. Very hot. I took it off the charger to cool off. Twenty minutes later I put it back on the charger and 4min later the watch was thermal tempted at 105, 108 & 115 degrees!! Watch is completely dead. Its off the charger and sitting on the counter to cool down. I'm extremely upset. I've owned MULTIPLE models of the FitBit watches over the years and each one dies faster. This needs to be rectified immediately, especially since this watch was purchased less than a year ago.
