Had my versa 2 for a couple of weeks love it and it’s helping me loads. Disappointed yesterday done a 5 mile walk and it’s not logged my active minutes 😩 I did start the activity and end it like I normally do and that gave me the normal results. I’ve done a re boot & app it also up to date any ideas please thanks.

Hi @Miki49, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 didn't log your active minutes after your exercise. I totally understand how you feel about this. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Sync your watch before this in order to avoid losing current data.

After this, check out this help page, which explains how active minutes work.

Finally, monitor your watch for the next workouts and see if it logs your active minutes and data properly.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

I just finished uodating my Verss 2 and the same thing happened to me. It shows my workout, shows my heart rate during workout but it logged zero active minutes although I worked out for 52 minutes. It also shows that my workout was 100% below zones although the heart rate cycle for those 52 minutes clearly shows fat burn, cardio and peak.

If you are using the "auto recognize Exercise" function you have to tell your watch which exercises to auto recognize.

The auto recognize settings are under the Exercise tab on the phone app, you also have to set minimum duration(10 mins) if you don't do the exercise for the minimum time it will not be recognized.

The other way to log your exercise is to manually start it on the watch in the exercise app then it will log all activity associate with that particular exercise, if you haven't got the app you can download it from the all apps section.

Hope this helps

I've been using this watch for almost two years. I started the workout
manually, ended it, saved it. When I got home my phone ssid I had an update
waiting, so I updated this morning and it completely ruined the data.
