Versa 2 didn't sync all my steps

I've got a versa 2, and today I did almost 17.000 steps. But when I just looked at mij versa, and my fitbit app, I saw it was gone to 10.594. Where are the 6.500 steps gone? And how do I get my 17.000 steps back.

Thank you for visiting the Fitbit Community, @ria.deboer.

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Versa 2. Thank you for the information provided.

If you have linked your Fitbit account to a third party app, please make sure the information logged on their side is not overriding the data recorded by your Watch.

Whether you have manually logged any activity on your Fitbit account, please make sure the time doesn't match the time you were running with your Fitbit Watch. You can delete any manually logged activity or any activity from a third party app to get your steps back.

Hope this helps.

How do you make sure the 3rd party app is not overriding the step count?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Snosberry.

If you were tracking an exercise with your Versa 2 at the same time an activity on your 3rd party app was logged, the steps on your Fitbit account could be overridden. Please make sure the time of your activities on the 3rd party app is different than when you were using your Fitbit Watch.

Have a nice day.
