Versa 2 died after downloading software update 7-20-21

Purchased Versa 2 in April 2021 and yesterday it would not sync.  Forced.to download the latest software update.  It worked from 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm.  since 5:31 pm 7-20-21, It's on,but tracking nothing.  Thank you Google☹️.  Discovered the new app now only works for Android 8 or higher...thank you Google.  Returning my Versa 2 today and moving on to a new manufacturer!!!!!!!
