Versa 2 dies despite 70% charge, screen unresponsive

Recently and sporadically the versa 2 dies despite being more than 50% charged. I was able to get it on the charger after being on a short trip and it took hours to charge up to 30% and turn on, but the screen is unresponsive. I put it on when I went to bed but less than 30 minutes later it was dead again.

I don't know how to fix it and this is the only effective, non-anxiety inducing way I wake up for work so I'm hoping it's fixable.

Hopefully you can fix it but a lot of customers Versa 2 bit the dust. Hopefully you are still under warranty.  If not, you will only be offered 35% discount on a new one.
