Anyone else with a Fitbit Versa 2 that your display is dim even at Max brightness setting? Mine has been doing this for the last few weeks. I've contacted support about this and even sent in a video of what I do to change the settings - - even at full charge and setting at Max brightness it still shows dim. I've even restarted the device and does not help. Thanks all.

Just in case, pull down from the top, to see notifications, pull down again and click on the 2 white bars to get to Quick settings and make sure Sleep has not got enabled by accident.

Hi - yes, I've been in communication with the support team. However, I've tried all the steps they've suggested and still display is continuing to display dim no matter what settings chosen on brightness. I've even done several factory resets. I'll wait and see how Customer support responds. Thanks for your input.

HI - yep did that. Even when I change the brightness settings in quick settings or normal settings on the device there is no change. I've never had one of my fitbit devices perform in this manner. I've had several.

Had anyone managed to resolve this? My versa 2 seems very dim recently, despite putting brightness on max and switching off DND.

Have you resolved this?
My Versa 2 display has also suddenly gone dim. Have tried all the various resets and checked settings and it's still the same. As others have reported similar issues recently the cynic in me wonders whether it's a ploy to get people to order the new Versa 4.

Hi @ScytherMT - if you tried checking quick Settings (2 posts above) and tried Shutdown from the watch Settings menu. Waited at least 10 seconds before placing on the charger to restart it and charge it, and this hasn't fixed it, try chat via the Fitbit app, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support.

Hi, thanks. I haven’t tried the shutdown option. I’ll give that a try.…. update: tried that and still dim. Customer support is next step then. Not overly confident this is going to end well. ☹️
Update: well, after an on line chat with support, a factory reset of my Versa 2 and an iOS update on my iPhone 6s, the display is still dim. Oddly it’s unreadable outside, but not too bad indoors. Anyway, support told me they were closing the case and that I would shortly get an email outlining my options (my Versa is 6 months out of warranty). I think that means I’ve been abandoned! No email received so far, but I think all they’ll say, if they ever do contact me, is buy a new Versa 3 or 4.
Final update: An email from Fitbit has arrived and they have offered me a discount on a new watch. I was surprised. My Versa 2 wasn't long out of warranty so disappointed that it's gone wrong and beyond repair, but Fitbit's offer does at least ease the pain of buying a replacement and I have ordered a Versa 4. Well done Fitbit. 🙂
