Versa 2 doesn't always log my entire run

Randomly my Versa 2 will delay logging my run time.  For instance, yesterday I started my run at 8:47 but Fitbit app states that I began at 9:18 for a total duration of 25 minutes which was actually closer to 50 minutes. About 2 weeks ago, it also randomly started to split my 48 minute run into different activities, i.e. 30 minutes run/18 minutes elliptical.  Maybe I just need the update?

Assuming you are relying on auto-recognition of running, just use the Exercise App.  You tell it when you start and stop so always get the full run.

From clock face, scroll right to 'Exercise', tap that, then scroll right to 'Run'.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
