Hello @Rena81

Can you please clarify if you simply restarted your Versa 2 or did you perform a factory reset?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Rena81 and thanks for your assistance @SunsetRunner. I'm sorry to hear that everything stopped on your Versa 2 and thank you for letting us know that you reset your watch.

Could you please let me know if your watch is turning on and showing your other information and reply to @SunsetRunner's question?

I am having a similar issue  : Versa 2 stopped showing heart rate and gives me completely basic feedback about my sleep, i.e., .”, “ you were asleep” I restarted it several times. The little lights On the back don’t seem to be blinking, but I’ve never studied them closely.

Fitbit is spectacularly unhelpful with everything except selling more products.  I’m happy to be proven wrong.  FitBit

, are you listening

Do we have an update? Still having this issue that seems to be affecting a lot of people.

Hello @Ebonez , @Rena81 and @Docbroze

I understand you all have an issue with your heart rate not tracking or working. I understand sleeping was mentioned as well but sleep logs need the heart rate reading to create the log. So once heart rate is fixed that should automatically fix the sleep log as well.

First try restarting your Fitbit to see if that helps if you haven’t already: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186.htm

Does your Fitbit show the heart rate as zero (0) or a dashed line? If your Fitbit’s heart rate monitor shows 0, or dashed line, the heart rate monitoring feature is likely off.

Open your settings app (gear wheel) in your Fitbit Tracker and change your heart rate setting to either Auto or On. If it already shows Auto or On, tap it off, sync your Fitbit wait 30 seconds, and tap it back on then sync again.

If the issue persist (although odd but has worked for some) try changing your clock face going through the Fitbit App.: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2311.htm. Preferably one made by Fitbit or your original clock face.

If you continue to have issued I’d contact Fitbit Customer Service: https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support?language=en_US

😉I do hope this helps. Please let me know

Thank you for those very clear instructions. I can now add “won’t hold a charge”, so I got a new Versa 2 on sale.

No suggestions have worked its very frustrating! The whole watch itself needs to b sent off & new ones given! A 35% discount on a new one is ridiculous! I have 4 children & 2 grandbabys. I cant afford a new one

None of this works. Like none of it. Have u read all the compliants on versa 2? Like everyone is having issues w/ the versa 2.

Yes, very sad when the same complaints about HR and sleep monitor stop working can be traced back to 2020.

Based on logs, mine stopped in April/May and also noticed that since June there has been a constant backlight on the watch face edges. So not only do 2 important functions not work, my battery life is getting shorter. This is definitely a firmware issue.

Time to move on to other products and say goodbye and good riddance to Fitbit as they obviously don’t care about customers any longer.

And to note, restarting several times, turning HR off/on with manual sync, and factory resets don’t ever work. The fact that they keep spouting the same “fixes” for 2 years and there are several dozen comments that confirm they never work speaks volumes about how little they care about fixing it or their customers.

I am also having the same issues. This is very frustrating since I pay a lot of money I think for premium! As of the latest update yesterday I received no health metrics… No heart rate… No sleep… No readiness score… None of it. I restarted my watch several times… Uninstall the app and reinstalled it. Turn my phone off and on etc. etc. all of the usual fixes. So annoying that every time it seems there is an update this happens

Sounds like you should be cancelling your premium subscription.

I have had the same problem for atleast a year now, probably more. Im sure it's fitbit's way of trying to make us upgrade. Not cool!

That sucks, and what I'm afraid they want us to do! Yet everything else works!

I guess we are just supposed to be glad other features work? 🤦‍:female_sign:

They don't seem to care. I guess its all about money. The only way I can seem to get any money back from these ppl is I'm lucky enough to have bought the iconic for my mother & there is a recall so I can get sum enjoyment from getting back from them!!!

I quit paying for the subscription a long time ago & u shouldnt have to pay for the subscription to have a watch for it to work. My sleep logs & heart rate quit back in DEC or jan. Its ridiculous that this many ppl are complaining & their doing nothing. Why would I buy another product wen this product don't work? Hmmm....make that make sense.
