Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Kahe.

Thank you for trying to resolve the issue with your Fitbit Versa 2 before contacting us.

Please make sure to remove your Watch from the list of Bluetooth devices on your Android device.

Then, please set up your Watch on your iPhone xr as a replacement device:

  1. Tap the Today tab EdsonFitbit_0-1629315688679.png, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

Whether you continue experiencing difficulties, please make sure that you've followed the steps in this article in the menu "Why isn't GPS working on my Fitbit device?".

Hope this helps.

Hi,

I've followed every step, also read the article 'why isn't GPS working on my Fb-device' - unfortunately it still doesn't work.

Although I'm sure GPS is working on my I Phone, because I can track my activities on Strava and I also have my Google-timeline on my device, so the problem only exists with my fitbit.

I even removed the Fitbit-app and installed it again.  Nothing seems to help ...

Kind regards

Hi

I've tried everything you suggested, including the articles you directed me to. Nothing helped.

Although,I now seem to have found a sollution myself : before I start my run on my fitbit-watch, I also open the Fitbit-app on my I-Phone. And now my route has been recorded.

Bit cumbersome but it worked.

If this sollution rings a bell please let me know. Maybe it helps you to find a possible bug or something I still forgot.

Kind regards
