Versa 2 doesn't show laps while you swim

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Original Versa shows laps done on the watch during the swim, the versa 2 does not. This is a terrible regression in features.

Getting the info after synching to my phone is pointless.

I know you moderators will move my topic to the others and edit it to suit you, but maybe rather spend the time in adding this much loved feature back onto the watch!

Thanks for your feedback and comments, we're always striving to improve our watches and trackers. I found this idea: Swimming should show more stats (time, distance or length) Versa 2. Please vote and comment on this idea, this will show your support and the status will change based in Fitbit's plans.

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

1st swimtoday with my Versa 2 and so disappointed to realize no lap counting during the swim. It was a birthday present, an upgrade from my Charge2 HR. Rather silly when my husband is swimming next to me and showing me the lap count on his Versa 1. Must have been a decision by someone sitting behind a desk all day. Very backwards!

I also bought it because I wanted to continue to see laps while I swim. My original Versa just stopped working after a year, just outside of the warranty period.  I was so excited to get the new one and could not figure out how to get the laps to show while I swam, and now I know why.  I agree, after the fact on the app is not helpful, seeing the time swam doesn't help me while I am swimming.  Laps.

It just doesn't make any sense that you can't count your laps anymore with it. It just has a timer and the clock, which are rather useless when you swim and have a timer & clock at the pool itself.
