Versa 2 fat burn at 82?

I just got a versa 2 after my versa 3 died last night. What is the difference between zone minutes and active minutes. It’s showing I’m in burn fat at a hr of 83. On my 3, that would not kick in til 109. I’ve updated app and tracker.

can anyone explain this?

Hello @Casmommps and welcome to the Community.  Active minutes and active zone minutes use two different equations to calculate heart rate zones.  Your new Versa 2 has the firmware from when it was manufactured -- the Versa 2 awarded active minutes when it was released.  Active zone minutes were added to the Versa 2 in a firmware update.  The Versa 3 has active zone minutes as its basic programming.  You should get the necessary firmware updates over the next 24-48 hours.

This Help article explains the difference between active minutes and zone minutes in more detail.  Jump to the section on heart rate zones.

Thanks for response. I’ll give it a couple of days to figure it all out. I don’t need the info for training, I just love the feedback as it inspires me to keep moving.
