My versa 2 is showing less steps than my Fitbit app. Currently my watch says 4,921. The app says 9,353. My iPhone health app has it at 7,893. I have manually synced it multiple times, it doesn't change. Ive also had issues where there would be active zone minutes on my watch, but none on the Fitbit app. My watch also wont say that I've clocked in a work out, but the app will, even when Im adding the workout from my watch, not manually in the app. So it isn't just a step count thing, it’s discrepancy for a few things.
I saw a recommendation to make sure my watch face is from Fitbit so I changed it, no difference.
I'm really confused and unsure of whats going on here, with all of my years with Fitbit Ive never had this issue. Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you for providing the details regarding your Versa 2.
Please confirm if you are using Mobile track. It is a service that allows you to count steps using your phone even if you forget to wear your Fitbit. You can "unpair" Mobile Track from your account. On your Fitbit app go to the upper left corner, on the phone and device icon. Click on your phone icon and on the 3 dots and choose "unpair".

I have the same issue but when following your instructions I do not get 3 dots when I touch the phone device icon in the top left corner of the app.
I also find that my Versa 2 freezes when I try to sync with the app. This all started in August 2024. I have iPhone 15.
Not a happy camper.

I don't have three dots after I choose the phone icon. I have an iPhone. I also don't take my watch off unless I charge it, so for the three days straight that Im wearing my watch, the step count is still off amongst the 3 areas I mentioned. So it’s not like Im charging my watch and still walking around without it and my phone is catching the steps my watch is missing. This miscommunication between everything is happening while Im using all at the same time.

I also do not have 3 dots...only option on that screen is to disconnect Device

I 100% agree. This has been happening to me for the past week and it's driving me absolutely crazy. Is there ANYONE at Fitbit who can help explain/fix this.
