Versa 2 frozen on the clock face

I got my Versa 2 for Christmas and last week it started acting up. Now it is frozen on the time, etc. and won't do anything. I can't swipe any direction. I've tried restarting it several times and it's always the same....nothing. I'm ready to pitch it and go with an Apple watch.

Hi @turtlelover3 Try doing a Factory Reset. If that doesnt help then contact Support

BUTTON FACTORY RESET FOR VERSA 2
Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. 
When the Fitbit logo disappears: Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). 
Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates the factory reset.

Tried the factory reset. It worked for all of 10 seconds then quit again. I will try the support team next. Thanks for your input.
