Versa 2 frozen with a white Fitbit logo.

I got my fitbit versa 2 about a week or two ago. It worked smoothly for the first week, but one day I wake up and want to see how I slept and it doesn't connect to my phone. I mess with it and keep trying to sync it and update its software because there's a new update for it. Well it will go through the whole update and everything but when the watch goes back to the home screen the app on my phone stays on a screen saying its installing, but it never leaves that screen and I have to force quit the app to get back to the homescreen. I rinsed and repeated this process even doing a factory  reset on the watch, impairing and recovering. It's always one of two roadblocks that I run into, either the watch refused to see the phone while trying to connect via bluetooth or my mobile hotspot. Or it will get past that and just never finish the update. But now a new contender has entered the gauntlet! As I'm trying to connect my phone and watch together my watch showed a screen that is completely black except for a white version of the Fitbit logo. I've held the side button did nothing, rapidly pressed that button nothing, tried to reconnect it to wifi and it changed to a blue wifi signal but that didnt last long. I even decided to disconnect the watch as a last ditch effort for something. And it's still frozen on a white logo. So if anyone has any idea as to what I can do about this watch not syncing or white screen it would be helpful. And I'll update this post if anything new happens.
