hi i recently got a versa 2 last friday and have noticed it drains half of its battery overnight, but last night it went from 79 to 0% by 3am i charged it around 11am the day before this happened. Ive also noticed the screen would randomly turn of and stay. on and i cant get it to turn off, i have it on the latest software, and on sleep mode, this shouldn't be an issue sense its only less than a week old. Can someone help me with this issue?

i will be online all day today so i will have a tab of this open and occasionally refresh the page.

I await a response.

thanks in advance!

it seams that using a 3rd party clock face was the problem.

Hi, @SunsetRunner , have you tried giving your Versa 2 a restart?  Swipe left on your

Versa 2 watch and find the settings app.  Tap and swipe down to turn off.  A restart can shut down any background activities that may cause unusual battery drain.

Please also check that you do not have the clock face set to continuously on.

@Julia_G yes in-fact I fully shut it off to clean it last night and let it fully dry before putting it back on.

That sounds promising.  Just make sure that it is not set to screen continuously on, which will significantly reduce battery life.  Also, if you set up sleep hours in your app, the screen will automatically dim and will not activate when you turn your wrist (assuming you wear it overnight) which will additionally help preserve battery.

@Julia_G i have it set to automatically do that and i. cant enable always on display for sleep mode so its od for it to randomly turn on without motion enabled.

Well, now that you have done a restart, and confirmed that sleep mode is turned on for your sleeping hours, hopefully it will be okay for tonight.  Let us know how it goes.

@Julia_G i have tried restarts when this happened and this didn't fix the problem is there some sort of setting?

@SunsetRunner , as I have mentioned, if you have given it a restart, and you have enabled sleep hours so the display will not light up through the night unless you press the button (and even then it will be dimmed) then you have all the settings correctly set.  Do you wear it overnight?

Please make a note of what the battery level is when you go to bed, and what it is in the morning, and let us know.

@Julia_G as i mentioned in the title it was at 89% and 0% at 3:49am last night with a full shut off and reboot before i went to bed. with sleep mode and it randomly turn the screen on with manual wake turned on and keeps turning on if i turn off the screen.
