Versa 2 got wet, and now won't go on at all

I know it is water proof, and it has gotten wet before with no issues, but 2 weeks ago I went swimming and it immediately turned off.  I stuck it in rice to dry (hey! if it works for cellphone I thought it might work for Versa 2)  It is still dead dead dead.   Any suggestions?

@Analia330 Welcome to our Fitbit Community. I totally understand how you feel about your Versa 2 since it won't turn on at all. By the way, thank you for trying to get it fixed before contacting our forums.

I'd like to know if your Versa 2 vibrates when you put it on the charger. In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, charge your watch for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life.
