Versa 2 gps tracking way out

I got a versa 2 for christmas and since then i have been connecting to my android phone to track my runs on gps. Before i had a tomtom and I always have strava on in the background. When i had the tomtom, both strava and the tomtom recorded the same time, distance, speed etc. Since having the fitbit versa 2, it is nowhere near accurate. For example, i went for a run yesterday and it was 5.2miles as recorded by strava and i checked on a map after. Versa 2 recorded 4.3 mile! The weirdest thing is that the GPS was definitely working because it tracked my exact run on the map, but the distance, and pace were completely out. Any ideas how to resolve this?

I'm having the same issue as of Saturday with my charge 3. Distance calculated is way below what it should be, and this was previously accurate. I'm also Android, so wondering if there's some kind of software issue going on here.

This has been affecting me as well, runs tracked over the last few weeks have been anywhere from between 10 to 20% out. This morning a run tracked on my Versa read 3.38 miles, whilst the same run tracked directly on the Strava app on the phone reads exactly 3.9 miles. I've had my Versa for 18 months and it's never been this bad. If they can't get this sorted quickly I'll be moving over to Garmin.

Just so you can see here's the maps for comparison. The fitbit app now also shows two runs today, one with the correct distance but no map and the incorrect one with a map.
