Versa 2 heart rate accuracy concern

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So my versa 2 occasionally spikes my HR to over 150 I've caught it in the daytime before and manually checked and it's been 160 on the versa and 85 from manual count. Every now and then.. maybe once s month it does it, sometimes in my sleep so I can't check (I just see it the next morning when I look at my app) sometimes it cuts out and there is a gap then a spike ....

Last night I had a completely random drop in HR... I am hoping this is a glitch, OH tells me it couldn't drop and rise that quick while I'm asleep. But it's freaked me out... All these glitches seem to happen around 1 -3am... Anything to do with updates? Anyone else have these issues... I'm in replacement number 3 for various problems and I'm losing faith

Thanks in advance

Hi @Mrsgoz, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. Heart-rate tracking can be affected by several factors including air temperature and device location on your arm. For more information about this, please check our help articles:

However, if your heart-rate tracker seems inaccurate after taking the recommendations into account, please reply with answers to the following questions so I can further investigate:

  1. What were you doing when you noticed the problem? If you were exercising, specifically what types of exercise?
  2. Were you wearing the Fitbit device particularly tight or loose?
  3. What was the position of the Fitbit device on your wrist?

I'll be waiting for your reply if further assistance is needed.

Considering the picture is of a sleep tracker... I would guess I was asleep, wouldn't you?  The tracker is on the same position on my wrist it has always been. This is a constant problem with my fitbit (along with low battery life, misreading high heart rates, leaving gaps in recording heart rates and not recording spo2 regularly...) not really worth the price tag we all pay for these devices.

I find that my versa 2 does not accurately display my heart rate during exercise. I  have put it on outside and inside of my arm and it does not fix it.

Having the same problem. Fitbit won’t admit an issue so would rather we worried about our health instead.
