Versa 2 heart rate accuracy concern

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I had no issues with anything.  I loved my versa2. I’ve had it for over a year.
It was working perfectly until the release of the versa3.  Then I started to notice issues with properly registering my heart rate.
During the cardio part of my workout sometimes it wouldn’t go higher than 100bpm.  While the machine I’m on is registering at 150-160.
It got even worse after the most recent update.  Now it never goes up higher than 100pm.

Now here’s the weird part.  After all the hard work and my cardio is basically over.  It’ll shoot up to 140 during the cool down for like 2-3 min.

Then it seems to record as normal.  Completely missing the part that I want to recorded.

I’ve had it for over a year so it’s not like I’m doing anything new that I haven’t done and had work before.

If this is the way that Fitbit is going then I’m just going to get a nicer watch cause that’s all this is good for at this point.

Hi @dirkusscribicus, welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. Heart-rate tracking can be affected by several factors including air temperature and device location on your arm. For more information about this, please check our help articles:

However, if your heart-rate tracker seems inaccurate after taking the recommendations into account, please reply with answers to the following questions so I can further investigate:

  1. What were you doing when you noticed the problem? If you were exercising, specifically what types of exercise?
  2. Were you wearing the Fitbit device particularly tight or loose?
  3. What was the position of the Fitbit device on your wrist?

I'll be waiting for your reply if further assistance is needed.
