Versa 2 heart rate and battery issues

My Versa heart rate monitor isn't working. I've tried everything that I possibly could, including turning the monitor on/off, restarting, and even factory reset. The laser isn't working no matter what I do. I don't think my heart rate has been monitored since October. In addition to that, the battery life has started to decrease as well. I'll charge it to 100% and it will be dead the next day. It's less than a year old and I'm not impressed.
