Versa 2 heart rate does not track and side button quit working

Noticed a while ago it quit tracking my heart rate and when I try to start an exercise, it wont leave that screen and the side button doesnt work so not sure how to reset it since the button just quit working. Sounds like from all these others Fitbit has quite  a bit of issues goin on.  This is my one and done I think.

Hi @Cjrosie - it sounds like symptoms of a damaged watch, possibly from moisture getting in.

If it gets hot while charging stop immediately, that also confirms damage.

If it is syncing still try changing the clock face in the Fitbit App, Gallery tile to get out of exercise mode.

Otherwise leave it run down to get it to restart.

It is unlikely to resolve itself and a last ditch effort once it is started again is to do a full shutdown from the watch settings menu, and failing that a factory reset but there is little chance it will resolve anything.
