I purchased a Versa 2 a couple months ago. I thought it was great that I could record my activities and see summaries following the workouts on the watch face. I immediately noticed my heart rate was hitting an extremely and potentially dangerous peak rate which caused me to see a cardiologist. After doing an echo stress test and wearing a heart monitor for a week I found out the heart rate monitor on the Versa 2 is extremely inaccurate. There was a 30-40 bpm difference in what the cardiologists heart monitor recorded and what the Fitbit recorded. I’m extremely disappointed in the Fitbit inaccuracy as well as the anxiety and cost associated with having to see the cardiologist only to find out everything was normal. Anyone else having this issue?

Mine is actually painfully accurate I have a fainting disorder and a wacky heart rate I was hospitalised not to long ago and told to get a oximeter I did.... they are both the exact same and the oxi is a hospital recommended one

Yes mine is very accurate though I had purchased one that was very inaccurate prior , then went to this model, so I do believe some people either have not found a good way to wear it on their body or gave a received a defective item. Mine definitely became more accurate when I found the right tightness to wear it while exercising and sleeping (snugger than I thought I had to) and where is lays on my are flat with little movement, about one finger above my wrist. If I don't have it snug enough when exercising (single track mountain bike or my trampoline) it will lose the heart beat then try to catch up and be erratic. So while exercising it can be an issue if it's not snug enough. I can loosen it one notch when just walking or doing my daily activities but to get accurate sleep I also snug it up the one notch. I'm sure some people find it uncomfortable to wear this way. I have to wash the band regularly when done exercising for the sweat and dirt that gets below it too so I use 99% rubbing alcohol to wipe it down with.

Mine is the same. I won't be purchasing another fitbit. I have had nothing but issues with this one. From something as serious as a completely inaccurate heart rate, causing me a lot of stress to the second strap not even fitting. It was a terrible purchase, completely unsatisfied

I am also seeing the same. I put it on the other day and my heart rate went to 152. I was sitting on the edge of my bed. I check using another device and it was normal. This fitbit has now given me anxiety about my heart rate that I didnt have before. I am going to get an AppleWatch.

I just ordered a Samsung watch. My fitbit was giving me too much anxiety. Even though I knew it wasn't accurate everytime my heartrate when up I would get worried. Wouldn't recommend the fitbit to anyone now.

Yes, my Fitbit tells me my heart rate is at 167 after a slow jog for 5 minutes. I am not even breathing heavy and am very fit.

I actually thought the same thing. But when I had to undergo a stress test for tachycardia, I watched my FitBit heart monitor and it actually mirrored to stress test’s monitor exactly! Have u been tested for heart issues?

Yes, fine! And I use a Kardia mobile. I am not saying the Fitbit is always off, however, there are times when my fitbit shows 50 or more bpm than my pulse and my Kardia! It is the intermittent tachycardic reading not validated at the same time by pulse and/or Kardia mobile that are most troubling!

My fitbit showed 172 beats per minute today, while I was walking!? And I didn't even feel out if breath, lol.
