Versa 2 heart rate monitor not working

I have had my fitbit Versa 2 for I believe over a year now. Everything was working great then one day it just shut off. Got home and charged it. The fitbit logo popped up and just kept blinking for hours. I just let it die and recharged it again. It turned back on but the heart rate monitoring stopped working and the back green lights only have one light blinking. I have tried restarting. Deleting the app and reinstalling. Nothing has worked. Anyone else dealt with this?
