I don't know what's happening. My watch just stopped tracking my heart rate two nights ago. My sleep is no longer being tracked and when I work out I have no heart rate (have no idea about how many calories I've burned).
I've checked the settings to see if the heart rate feature is on (it is) and I have also turned it on and off multiple times during the past two days. I have also reset the watch over 20 times now and still nothing.
I don't know if there is anything I can do. I use my watch every day - as I'm sure everyone on here does. Especially with COVID happening all I have is time right now and I really rely on having my heart rate monitored to know how many calories I burn :'(
Maybe I should switch brands or something if there really isn't anything I can do. I find it kind of strange how ONLY a couple days after my 1 year warranty was up - is when this started happening? I'm really sad 😞 I hope there is some new update that fixes all this

I just spoke to fit bit support and was told they don’t know about any sort of virus, and that there’s nothing they can do for me. So my watch is just pooched. Hope everyone else has better outcomes

oh my gosh 😞
I'm so sorry - that really sucks!! I feel like they're going to say the same to me? I haven't heard back from anyone so I guess I should just stop trying.
😞

I had to go through their “help” section and reach out to them, no one reached out to me. They did give me the standard 25% off another watch but I don’t want to spend the $$$ at the present time for another watch until this one totally dies. I got it initially as I’m an RN and it’s handy to do a quick check of messages since I can’t have my phone on me. Since that feature still works I’m gonna keep the current watch until the messages stop showing up. Haha

I tried the factory reset and update, unless there’s another update since last week.

I tried factory resetting and doing the whole thing again as well and it's still not working.
I'm gonna try contacting them the way you did and if that doesn't work - I'm done lol I'm laughing but I'm actually so sad Hahaha
Anyways I hope you all have a wonderful day 🙂

Problem appears to be in the app, only occurs after syncing. Factory reset didn't fix it.

I finally went through "help" like you mentioned.. AND I WAS HELPED 😭 omg the person who helped me was so nice too - forever grateful.
I was offered standard replacement - I went for the % off because I've come across some posts on this forum about replacements being an issue too (didn't wanna risk it).
Wishing everyone on here luck with their watches 🙏

I’m glad you were helped. I’m going to ride this watch out till the end!! Hahaha. Have a good day and I hope your new watch brings you better luck than this one. 🙂

Glad THAT worked for you! After running ALL the troubleshooting I could find & then trying some stuff on my own, my old Versa still did not a heart rate. I feel that the FITBIT company (didn't GOOGLE just buy them out?!!) has to be aware of this problem yet still sadly fails to respond to anyone. HELLO There FITBIT! Could you respondez vous s'il vous plait & at least post something to all users at least recognizing there is a problem & list POC's &/or steps to resolve. A solution is badly needed or your customer base is going to drop off severely. And why would anyone want to buy stock in this company when the product is beginning to look not so reliable anymore?

A rep from Fitbit emailed me last asking for the details on what was going on with my Fitbit. I replied immediately with what's going on.
NOTHING. I HAVE HEARD NOTHING FROM THEM SINCE!
Lousy customer service.

My versa constantly reads the same rate [101], but the app (while syncing) constantly shows a number one less. [100]. So, I guess that's a thing. 😒
