My Versa 2 shows so many active hours however I am not that active. Today was a 35 min walk and some light kitchen duties. I was on my feet doing kitchen duties but something doesn’t sound right. How could I be in 7 hours of fat zone...also the two days before 9 out of 9 hours were active. All my settings are default. Is my heart rate not picking up correctly?

When you say 9 out of 9 hours were active, you must be talking about the 250 steps per hour. It is just if you took at least 250 steps in each of thise hours. That would not necessarily qualify as being "active" but is just meant to help avoid sitting still too long.
Fat burn heart rate zone starts at 50% of your max heart rate. Subtract your age from 220 to get your max heart rate. Then half of that is the lower limit for fat burn.
For someone 50 years old, max heart rate would be 220-50=170.
Half of that is 85. So any heart rate of 85 or above counts as fat burn zone or higher.
Check your own numbers to see where fat burn zone begins; then glance at your heart rate throughout the day to see if it is at least that high.
For many people, it doesn't take a lot of activity to get into the fat burn zone.
