For my last birthday I received a Fitbit Versa 2, which was replacing my old Fitbit Versa. I was expecting it to do many of the same heart rate features with improved accuracy, but I found the opposite and I was curious if there was anything I could do. The main issue arises when I'm in the middle of a elliptical workout and sweating heavily. My Fitbit HR goes from being 185-205 BPM to below 150, sometimes it even reads 75 or 80 BPM. This throws off the accuracy of my calorie count and registers my workout inaccurate. I wear the Fitbit tight around my non dominate wrist, and I make sure that the HR reader is touching my skin. Is there any recommendations that you have for increasing the accuracy of my HR readings and allowing me to get a better read on my workout?
