Versa 2 heart rate sensors not working

The Heart Rate Monitor on my Versa 2 suddenly stopped working.

 

I’ve read all the forum posts. I’m not “wearing it wrong”, I’ve cleared data AND factory reset. I’ve deleted the device from the app, and have done all of the standard blah blah blah tech support recommendations.

I’ve been around the tech support block more than once. I recognize a fancy way of saying “turn it off/on and hope that fixes your problem”.

 

Will Fitbit please advise what has actually failed on the device, and when they will provide a real fix? I’d hoped that the most recent update would help, but it did not.

I am having this same problem, but the customer service assistance provided could not find a solution. I was also just beyond the one year mark for the warranty. Is there no way to have the versa serviced??

 

I have been wearing your watches for five years, but having to buy another $200 watch after one year and not knowing if it will happen again doesn't seem like the best option.
