OK this morning on my Fitbit versa 2 the display screen wouldn’t come on and when I went to settings it wouldn’t let me go any further than just opening the Settings app it wouldn’t open at all. So I put it on the charger and the display screen started working so I went to the settings and cut it off and now my heart rate is not working correctly one minute at 63 the next minute it’s 124. What could be wrong with it?

My versa 2 was working fine I went to bed and the display screen want come on. I hit the button and it would let me go through my apps so I went to settings and was gonna cut it off then turn it back on but it wouldn’t let me open up the settings apps. Can someone help me???

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. Heart-rate tracking can be affected by several factors including air temperature and device location on your arm. For more information about this, please check our help articles:

 

 

However, if your heart-rate tracker seems inaccurate after taking the recommendations into account, please reply with answers to the following questions so I can further investigate:

 

  1. What were you doing when you noticed the problem? If you were exercising, specifically what types of exercise?
  2. Were you wearing the Fitbit device particularly tight or loose?
  3. What was the position of the Fitbit device on your wrist?
