Versa 2 iPhone calls working, texts not coming through

I just bought my Versa 2, set everything up and tried all the help feeds for my iPhone 8.  I can receive phone calls on my Versa2 but none of my texts are getting through. 

what is the direct fix ?

I did all of those steps and still no fix
