So a few days in a row I've gone for long runs or walks and I think my versa 2 is no longer right with my distance. I've done the same run for a while now and its 6kms, but my versa is now saying 4kms. Just went for a walk it said 3.85kms but on my daughters smart watch it said she had done 5kms even though she was with me the whole time. I've already done the whole re start thing so if someone has other ideas that would be great. Thankyou.

Its big known problem that doesn't look like its getting fixed any time soon i'm afraid. There's a big thread here:

I bought my Versa 2 in Dec2019 and although the map at the end of the ride is identical to Strava users on the same ride , the calculated miles is always 20-30% less throughout the ride. Tried everything Fitbit has suggested. My work around is linking my Strava account to my fitbit account and use Strava to track my rides. The ride appears as a bike activity on the fitbit app on my phone , the total miles and speed from Strava will appear but not the map.

That’s what I am doing at the moment. The problem is if you doing that why bother with a Fitbit? Why not just use your phone? If I try to run 5k I don’t know what distance I have actually travelled using my Fitbit, so effectively it’s useless for me.

I only bought a Fitbit so my place of employment can check my step count and activity level so I can get reimbursed up tp $300. If it wasn’t for that I wouldn’t track using either one I just want to ride. That being said I think part of the problem is with the Samsung A50 Im using. I have to disable auto-pause nor can I manually pause using fitbit or Strava or these strange spikes start appearing in all directions at the point I stopped at. Just enjoy the outdoors and the run.
