Versa 2 is 5 minutes slow

My Versa 2 has started being 5 minutes slower than my phone, computer and every other electronic timepiece. I see in the forums that other Fitbit users have had this problem over the years. I've tried reinstalling the app, rebooting the Fitbit 3 times, and resetting the time zone.

Has anyone found the magic fix?

Thanks!

Hi @Versa2user999 - did this start happening when changing to the new Fitbit App?

The good news is if it is constantly only 5 minutes slow the watch is ok, but there are syncing problems with the new app.

This may work, try Logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone.

Make sure there are no other devices running the Fitbit App switched on.

Restart the watch by holding the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.

Login and wait for any pair, link or Fixit prompts and sync.

This should enable proper syncing.

If it is still problematic in the Fitbit App App settings change to another time zone and sync then change back and sync.

Unfortunately this didn't work...any other thoughts?

@Versa2user999 - you can try changing clock face but if changing time zone didn't produce a different hour and correct minute it is still a syncing problem which may be related to the new app.

I think you're right...guess I'll have to wait for updates to see if they
fix it.
