Hey.
Noticed this afternoon I got 2 new badges for daily stairs without putting any effort what so ever into it. Suddenly something is wrong with my versa 2 watches ability to count stairs as I shouldn't be sitting on 181 stairs for today.
Looking at my history yesterday was also triple digits without intentionally climbing hills.
I use my Fitbit as a guide for my exercise, while I don't believe its 100% accurate I would prefer something reasonable.
Nothing has changed in my routine. Can't think of any recent damage or a drowning incident. Haven't needed a software update for a while. Not really sure what's changed to create the issue.
What is my options to fix this? I've restarted my phone & versa 2. There's no new update available.
I'd really prefer a way to directly contact support other then a public forum to be honest. Looking around at similar posts and FAQs don't offer much of a solution.

Any Ideas?
Cheers.

Hi there @NzLakkspeed, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with your Versa 2 and for taking the time to search the solution to this into other community threads.
Regarding the issue with floors, your device may give you credit for extra floors for a variety of reasons. Devices may track floors while doing everyday tasks such as opening doors, driving, or riding elevators or escalators, or from abrupt weather and atmospheric pressure changes. Exposure to excess moisture can also result in extra floors. For more information, see: Why does my Fitbit device count extra floors? You can also find more information about tracking activity in this help article: How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity?
If you want to remove floors from your account, please follow these steps.
If the issue persists, let me know and I will be glad to create a support case on your behalf. We're sorry for the hard time you had while reaching our Support Team, due to recent events affecting our operations, support options are limited and wait times are longer than usual.
Keep me posted on the outcome.

Thanks for the quick response, I do a appreciate that. I'l take the wait and see what happens through the next few days.
I'm still pretty certain that my daily floors counter is way out of its normal range. Within reason It's a long slog to get to 100+ and I know the odd floor wont be counted due to speed, and I got to almost doubling my best without noticing? I'd like to upload images to show what I mean, but I don't have permission and that is frustrating...
Would I be right that although I can edit my old data, the awards for 125 & 150 daily floors won't reset?

@NzLakkspeed You're welcome.
Please keep an eye on your Versa 2's behavior during the next few days and let me know if the issue persists. However, I'd appreciate you take into consideration the information I shared with you above.
Regarding attaching images to your post, please do the following:
About the badges, you cannot delete wrong badges yourself. However, you can contact our Support Team for assistance on this matter.
I'll be around if you need further help.

Just received my 200 floors badge... still feels unearned as I'm not actively trying to get extra floors. Spent the day out with family shopping and my family as of now is on 9 and I am on 200 daily floors. Everyone is different but we should be within reason of each other.
Had a discussion with Ninebeh on the support line, (Case 38949770) We attempted holding the button down for 10s to restart the watch. Personally I see it the same as going through the settings menu and manually selecting shutdown. After that I asked about resetting my daily floor badges, after thinking it over they came back saying it is only possible to remove all badges from my account. After asking them to clarify what they meant by all badges, it turned out I could reset my daily floors without losing the rest, like lifetime steps. So someone will email me about that later on.
as far as uploading images its still not allowing me. Following above after clicking the camera I am not given the option to select an image. putting the direct file loaction into the *source box doesnt work. I'm lost.
Source, image description, Dimensions X x Y.
When dragging the file over I get a red bar below saying "You do not have permission to upload images."
Again I'll see what else happens with my floors count through the week.
