Versa 2 is counting very low calories burned

Hi,

I've had my Fitbit for just under a year.

Normally my average calories burned daily is somewhere between 2500 + 3000+.

I have a very active job & I also train around 5-6 days per week & average daily steps 15k+...

I had to reboot my phone yesterday and have reinstalled the Fitbit app, however now today it's telling me I've only burned 1200 calories, despite the same amount of activity as I normally do, kind of frustrating as it's very inaccurate!

Why is this happening and please can you tell me how to fix it?

Thank you ☺️

Hi @HollyGray, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa 2 is not tracking your calories burned properly. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.
  • Set up your watch from scratch

Finally, monitor your Versa 2 for the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.
