Versa 2 is giving me a wrong Pace

Hi, I recently received a Versa 2. The step tracker has been working well, and I had done several runs (both indoor and outdoor) with the tracking and pace appearing to be working correctly. I didn't completely understand the GPS function, and I ended up tracking an indoor run with the GPS turned on (I brought my phone with me to listen to music, which i had not done before, forgetting to turn off the GPS connection). It tracked a 3.7km run as only 2.1km, throwing my pace off. 

 

Since then, the pace and distance numbers have been completely off. I have turned off the GPS, and even turned off bluetooth connectivity to my phone when running, with no change in results. I tested with a walk (not a run) with GPS turned on, and everything checked out. However running is not working. Today, it was telling me my pace was slower (15min/km) when running, compared to my walking (11min/km). 

 

I think indoor GPS run must have screwed something up. Is there a way to reset this? I'd prefer to not do a factory reset, but understand I might as a last result. The device is not really usable at this point.

To try to resolve the issue you can restart your watch by following these steps.

 

When starting an activity, we recommend waiting for a few moments for the GPS to connect before pressing start. There are a few factors that can affect GPS readings. If you haven't done it already, please follow the instructions on this article.

Did this fix your issue? This is so annoying.  A lot of the time mine won't even track my heart rate properly either.  Only had it a week and super disappointed with it.
