Versa 2 is not providing sleep score data

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Since I updated to IOS app update 3.35 on Dec 6, 2020, my sleep tracker does not give me a sleep score.  I only get simplified sleep details from my Versa 2. I haven’t changed any settings, and it worked perfectly before this update.  Any one else having this issue?  Any resolution?

Hi @Brewman99, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I totally understand how frustrated you are in regards the sleep score tracking issue that your Versa 2 has experienced.

In order to fix this issue, I'd like you to restart your Versa 2 as described in this help article. After this, check out this help page, which explains how the sleep score feature works on your Fitbit device.

Finally, monitor your watch and see if it provides sleep score data.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Hi.  I restarted my Versa 2 as outlined.  I monitored last nights sleep information .  It is still only providing  simplified sleep data.

Hi @Brewman99, thank you for getting back and trying the restart process. I'd like you to try one more workaround that has been helpful for this type of issues. Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

After this, set up your watch from scratch. Finally, keep monitoring it and see if the issue gets fixed.

Let me know how it goes.

Hi.  I tried the factory reset but it did not fix the issue.  I noticed that the heart rate monitor is not working.  This is what is causing the sleep score issue.  The led lights are not flashing.  Is there any way to fix this problem?  Thanks again!

This is happening to me as well! With my Versa 2, I've tried restarting, turning on and turning off, fully charging the battery, and a factory reset and none of it has worked. It started the same way where I wasn't getting sleep data and then I wasn't getting heart rate data. The light on the back of the watch doesn't ever light up now and isn't giving me any heart rate data. I also made sure the clock fave was compatible and up to date and that did not help either. Please advise, I'm desperate to get it working again!

Looks like we have the same issue.  Hopefully we can get a resolution.  My versa 2 is only a year old.  I got it last Christmas.  I certainly hope the heart rate monitor would last longer than that!

I have the same problem. Last week I noticed that my heart rate never changed from 81, no matter what I was doing. Then it just stopped reading it all together. And the sleep score data was just the basic amount of time slept. The green light on the back of the Fitbit doesn't blink anymore and nothing has fixed it. I hope this is something that can be worked out! I've had the Fitbit for a year now and it's worked really well up to this point.
