Versa 2 is not tracking distance accurately

My brand new versa 2 is not tracking my distance accurately. I have been using the Fitbit app alone to track my distances prior but wanted a watch for easier reading while walking. The app seems to be much more accurate than the watch. Is there something I’m doing wrong? Shouldn’t both Fitbit products track the same? Even my old Fitbit One was more accurate. I really don’t want to have to return it.

In order to fix this issue, please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, check out this help page, which explains how your Fitbit device tracks your distance traveled.

 

Finally, monitor your watch for the next 24 hours and see if it tracks your distance accurately.
