Versa 2 is not tracking my swims accurately

I am using the "preset" swimming tracker while swimming...

but I am really not sure what the watch is tracking!

e.g. when I am doing 60 laps in a 50m pool - according to my maths - that's 3000meters.

But the watch tells me I have done 63 laps in a 25m Pool and adds this up to 1575 meters...

When I do 40laps, it counts 42.

And then - apart from counting the laps wrong - how can I tell the watch that I am training in a 50m pool and not a 25m pool???

Any ideas?

THANKS!

Hi there, @Bresskat. Welcome to the forums. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with your Versa 2. I understand where your concern is coming from.

Enter the pool length in meters or yards before you start your swim. Remember to update the pool length if you use a different size pool. To change the unit of measurement you use for pool length, see How do I change the units of measurement in my Fitbit account?

For more detailed information, see How do I track my swims with my Fitbit device?

It does not. My versa 2 also gives me a wrong lap count, as the original questioner's did. How do I fix that?
